Culbertson Museum

As you walk through the rooms of the Culbertson Museum, you walk back through life as Grandma and Grandpa experienced it 50, 70, or even 100 years ago. There is a little country church, a one room school, a general store/post office, doctor's office, barber shop and of course the country kitchen and living quarters. Just as Grandma's kitchen always had the coffee pot on, after the tour you will find complimentary coffee and a homemade cookie to go with it. Outdoor exhibits include a blacksmith shop, wagon barn, 1923 Great Northern caboose, an authentic Sioux teepee, and dozens of antique tractors (shown by the NE Montana Threshers Association). School and scout groups are always welcomed, as are senior citizens and nursing home residents. Well-stocked brochure racks furnish a wealth of information for travelers entering Montana via Highway 2 or 16.
